Medical Education and Roleplay
Our main service is to provide well-trained, well-prepared actors to roleplay simulated patients.
Our core company of actors have all been on an intensive two-day training course run by mental health professionals covering the most common psychiatric disorders. The course also has input from service users.
We also offer a wide range of education and training tools aimed at a variety of audiences. We have devised and presented training videos for consultant psychiatrists, workshops for specialist nurses including recognising depression in Parkinson’s disease patients, refresher courses on suicide risk assessment for GPs and exam revision sessions for medical students and psychiatric trainees, to name a few.
We can tailor a workshop to your learning objectives.
If you already have the characters and scenarios, we can provide well suited role players to bring them to life. If you have a vague idea of wanting to use roleplay to help training but are not sure how to proceed, we will work with you to devise a workshop or presentation that engages, entertains and educates your audience.

The Concept
We are champions for parity between mental and physical health care and we believe that better training about mental illness will help close the gap.
We believe in providing actors that will play any medical condition accurately and have an understanding of the illness they are portraying. The support of the service by consultants from a diverse range of specialties makes this possible.
Whether it is a training course, a revision session or an actual exam, the participants are the reason we are there. It is our duty to be fully briefed on the scenario, consistent and accurate in performance and sensitive with our feedback.
